Back at it again

The last big update was the wedding! It was a blast, I did get to create some cool stuff for it, but the coolest thing that came out of it (besides, you know, my husband) was our wedding video!

BIG SHOUT OUT to Garret Green at Green Room Studios for shooting and putting together a video I will no doubt watch over and over again for the rest of my life!

A lot of changes have happened since then - we decided to move closer to family and friends in Peoria for a while, and I now work at Girl Scouts of Central Illinois as a recruiter and troop support member. It's been really interesting to see how I can apply the skills I've learned to this job and in return gain some more that I can apply to film production. ​ And now I'm back on the market!

After a lot of self analyzing, I'm on a track to find a management role in a film setting. Of course I'm willing to work up to that kind of position, but I'm excited and reenergized to jump back in full force to what I absolutely love and miss doing. It's not that I haven't been doing ANY filmmaking, but it has been a little too few and far between for my liking! ​ So thanks for reading my little update! Updating the website is just the first step, so a new blog update felt appropriate.
